iDrive forgets my settings?
OK, I've had my 535i for a day now and since I've set my split screen option on and bass/treble settings for my sound. Hey, that's good enough for the first day... To my great dissapointment, few hours later, both of these were gone! Splits screen no longer split, and my tone settings back to default. What the heck? Help....

Happened to me as well the day I picked up the new car at the dealership when I had both keys with me...
![]() 1. Make sure to approach the car only with the "correctly programmed" key. 2. Go to the Profiles menu and assign a name (i.e. your first name) to the profile which says "----" with a checkmark = profile of the current key 3. Lock the car, put the 1st key away and come back with the second key. Then assign your previously stored profile to that second key - now both keys will recall the same settings when the car is unlocked. 4. if the 2nd key is for someone else, then optionally make the necessary adjustments (seats, mirrors, etc.) and make sure to store those settings to a different profile name.

LOL I did the same thing and drove back to the dealership the next day, after I made them set all my preset radio stations and everything else....
