For fitting eletc. rear sun-blind,somebody could help,pls?

Hello there,

Like u see,Im new here and hope yr help for my 523Li(F18)

Firstly i have to clarify this:

1, most accessories r same with F10.

2, this 523Li costs exceed usd73,000.0 in my country(exclude the tax of usd6,200.0).
204ph with L6,only 7" screen & single CD,no bluetooth/rear seat heat/gps/dvd...even
no sun-blind,i thought i could accept all,but now i cant bear it without sun-blind

After connectting with local bmw shop about rear sun-blind,they told me they cant do this 'cos dont know specific part no. for whole set,only show me the pic & part no.
with 51462160228 as follows:



Obveriously,it's manual,not elect. rolling one i want.

So i make post here for yr help,any further details will be highly appreciated

That sounds like a difficult / very expensive retrofit.

I have the power rear sun shade on my F10 and have never used it except to see what it would do.

Instead got 35% tint on all windows but the windshield and sun issues are gone!

Love what I have read and seen about the "strech" 5 Series ..... please post any pics you could of the side profile. My "strech" 740li was an all time favorite.

We had many days here over 36 C this summer and always cool with window tints.

My advice is to get window tint as well. I rarely needed to use the rear sun shade on my previous car with tint. It gets over 36 C hot here as well.

Better than having noises after the retrofit anyway.
