|
Any body on work visa did ED?
I didnt know until today that we need to have US visa before hand for the entire tenure of the BMW finance period... My visa will be extended for every three years ...i was planning ED from almost a year its a big disappoinment now... Any body who did ED recently had a issue with this?

Perhaps you can look at leasing? It might be a better option for you anyway, since your status might change..

If you have someone that is willing to co-sign the loan (or lease) with you that should solve the problem. I personally didn't do ED but leased and financed cars while on a work visa, has no issues as long as I had a cosigner.
Btw, the problem you're facing is securing financing, not the ED per-se (if you were to pay for the car in cash you could do ED, regardless of immigration status). Last edited by 1STBimmer; 11-07-2011 at 12:21 PM.

Unfortunately i dont have a option for co sign....Look slike i will have same issue with lease too...Thursday is my judgement day hopefully (I dont know how) if i have any luck that should play on that day on my behalf....

Can you find another bank to do the financing that doesn't have that restriction? You don't have to finance with BMW if another institution will do it.
