550i
Does anyone have a 550i with recall issues? Did you have it repaired, and how do you know if your vehicle has recall issues?

I've not had any issues. Well, that's not true. Since having the Dinan upgrade, the indicator on the speedometer that goes blue when the efficient brake system kicks in doesn't work. I've been told that it's a programming issue that Dinan is working on. The "system" works, but for some reason the gauge stops just short of the blue reading. Go Figure.

I've only had my 550i GT for six months or so, but there have been no recalls for my car (Jan 2011 production) in that time. The only issue I've had has been a "replace battery" warning that my dealer easily fixed with an overnight software upgrade. Presumably any GTs sold in the last few months would have the newer software already installed.

The only problem I have with my 1600 mile 2011 550GT is that the fuel guage moves towards "E" much too quickly!
;-) No seriously...they should have put a little bigger tank in this thing. I seem to fill up all the time. But what a sweet ride!

Mine as well moves to E quickly and sometimes it fluctuates from say 22 range to 24? Not sure what the heck, maybe its just my 550

Did I see a GT gas gauge recall???
Not sure where I saw it, but some GT's had a gas gauge recall for the guage sticking and giving false readings. You may want to check that out.
