1987 528e maf issues/replacement HELP!

About a month ago I had driven into a puddle that was deeper than it looked and got water in my intake and had to pull my spark plugs and turn the water out...

I changed my oil and everything but didn't think to check my airbox or maf sensor, well about a couple weeks after my car started running funny I took my airbox off and pulled the screws out of my maf plug-input and some water came out! I tried cleaning and letting it dry but i think i have to replace it.

I have know idea how to get the maf off of my airbox or how to get a new one on.

If I recall correctly, it's bolted into the plastic airbox housing. It's not hard to remove, but at first glance the bolts and nuts appear to be hidden. Disconnect and take the box off the car and take it apart and you'll be able to see where it's fastened so you can replace it. The attached diagram might help.
