The apps now function on iOS5 Beta 7 and the calendar has been added

Edit: Pandora is still not functioning. Hopefully an update soon

Did they add any additional bluetooth profiles to iOS 5 beta by any chance?

What are you looking for specifically'?

The BMW Connected app update is what provided the calendar function

I think every iPhone user around here is looking for MAP (message access profile) Bluetooth to be added so we can see our email on the car.

Pandora works on my 2011 335d running in foreground on iPhone.

Guys, Gene knows what he's talking about. He's simply reporting on the interoperability of iOS 5 with his F10 as it rolls through the pre-release versions.

I just wanted to know if any of the iOS 5 builds added MAP. I didn't think it did, but I was just curious. The calendar function on BMW app was added back in August. This update basically added no new functionality.

Yeap...

It seems to me that the BMW Connected App (ipod app playing music) won't run in split screen. Anyone else notice this? When my iPhone4 is in the snap-in adapter, it's better to just connect directly to the phone for music than to go through the BMW app.

Prior to this update, the BMW Apps did not function on iOS5 after Beta 3. Same for Pandora.

The apps now work perfectly, Pandora is a non starter. You can manually play Pandora on the phone in the cradle (or plugged in) and it will simply say "Pandora" on the "Plug in" display. No track name, no album art.

Hopefully an update from Pandora is in the works.

Serves me right for saying something negative about the BMW app ... it heard me. Now it doesn't work at all.

I just updated my BMW App on my iPhone4 to the latest version from the app store. I'm now at Version 1.6.1 (7577). I can't get it to work with my iPhone4 snap-in adapter. Grump. It simply won't make the connection. To be honest, I haven't tried it with a directly wired white Apple USB cable. The snap-in adapter is working fine. It's charging the phone, I can play all of my music, as well as videos (DVD in motion works great!). I just can't get BMW Apps to connect.

Any/all advice is welcomed.

I downloaded the latest version of the app and it works fine!! Unfortunately they didn't add any new features (email or SMS).
