2005 645ci Parking Lens issue
First, I would like to say that the members and this forum have provided a lot of useful information. The door sill lighting looks like my first project.
Does anyone know of replacement parking lenses or a way to clean up a lens? Here's a shot of the lens. JD "Doc" 2005 BMW 645ci Coupe |

Did they crack/fracture?
I have not seen that before on such a fairly new vehicle. I thought you were going to say they were yellowish.

I assumed water / condensation caused deterioration of the silver base inside. Silver Spring BMW hooked me up You simply pick from here http://www.realoem.com/bmw/partgrp.d...3&mospid=47767 and then email Evan ewinstead@mileone.com

That was a good price. I got one recently at the dealers here in Ireland & it was the equivalent of $134 (€100, that was with a small discount). I can only imagine what price will be when euro (€) currency collapses!
Fitting one of these lenses requires partially removing the front wing, the lamp kind of fits up underneath the wing. Here is a "how to" guide for those looking at this thread in future: http://tis.spaghetticoder.org/s/view.pl?1/09/46/74 |
