Will Mobile office work with Blackberry 9930 Running on Verizon

Trying to decide which phone to purchase for my 2011 535ix. Would love to be able to use the Mobile Office functionality. I am a Verizon user.

Iphone is an easy choice if Mobile office not available for any phone on Verizon but I am hoping that Mobile Office will work with the newest Blackberry Bold 9930 on Verizon. I have contacted BMW, Verizon and RIM. No one knows if the 9930 which Verizon says runs on OS 7 has MAP and/or will be compatible with the Mobile Office function in my new 535 ix which has prem, P2, cold weather etc.

Any experience with this or intelligence you can share would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried it or is your answer based simply on the belief that there is no reason the 9930 Bold should not work?

Have you seen any posts where any blackberry has worked on Verizon to provide Mobile Office?

Thanks

Verizon has nothing to do with this. IF It's BB with MAP and OS 6 or greater, it should work. I got Bold with OS6 and it works. Verizon has a return policy, so if you don't believe me, you can try it out

Thats great. I believe the new bold 9930 is OS 7. No one knows whether this OS has MAP but the Verizon customer service rep suggested to buy and return ii if it does not work and he would waive the restocking fee.

Do you find the Mobile Office functions worthwhile?

It's very convenient, you can read the mail and sms right on the iDrive. Or if you prefer, IDrive reads it for you, albeit slowly. And if you download an App from BB store, you can also get calendar and tasks

Yeah these blackberries break after a couple of years. Usually it's the charging port.

Sorry. It does not link to the f10. And it is also a piece of crap. Blackberry is a terrible company
