The Honeymoon is Over

It had to happen some time, and this was the weekend that my F10 became just another transport.

Yes I broke down and put on the old bike racks, and you know what, car looks pretty good with them on.

Second picture is of my two favorite steeds all together.

Saberwalk, what kind of rack is that?

I have one left over from my E60 535xi--i didn't think that would fit.

The racing bike holders are the same that I used on my 06 330xi. The base support is the one that comes up on the accessories page when I search for the F10. I would double check the model number for the E60. You may find that it is the same item. That's how I figured out that my bike holders would work.

i didn't think the E60 rack would fit as it was the old style. i have an OEM BMW rack for an 08 335xi that i never installed. i'll have to take a look. it would be pretty cool if i could use that rack and bike carrier.

thanks for the info.

But I like the current wheels. Seriously though, even with two bikes on the rack, car was a dream to drive.
