Loyalty discount question

Do you need to currently own a BMW or can you have owned one previously (same dealer)?

What loyalty discount?I haven't heard of any such thing, and this is my second bmw. The only loyalty I got was from BMW FS - -1% on the loan.

There is a $1,000 loyalty discount, but from what I can tell it's if you owned one since 2005 or sooner. Mine was in 2000 - 2004 so I guess I am out of luck

You need to have had an active BMWFS account in the past 6 months - you can choose between $1000 discount, 1% rate reduction on conventional financing or 3-basis point reduction on lease, I think they also waive your security deposit if you have a good history with them.

From the BMW Loyalty Offers site : "Offers apply to current and former owners of a BMW Model Year 2005 and newer in the past 12 months, who purchase or lease a new BMW Model Year 2011 and newer."

Gotta love this site. Whether you agree with your compatriots on issues or not, we do agree on one thing or we wouldn't own bmw's
