Need Help Setting a Preset to Navigate Home

Hi:

I'm trying to figure out (the owners manual is silent on the issue) how to make one of my preset buttons automatically start the navigation guidance to a specific destination (i.e., home). Can anyone offer specific assistance?

There are more specific instructions on a couple of threads here. Bottom line - enter your address, when your addresss is all entered/accepted, but have not started guidance yet, click on the memory button you want to assign. I just recently had to do this again, since the thing mysteriously erased sometime.

Thanks. So if you do that and you subsequently click on the preset (lets say 5 days later), do you still have to push "start guidance" thereafter or does setting the preset automatically start the guidance?

I am bot sure, however I think so. I can confirm when I get home. Even on my Honda Odyssey, which has a preset "Go Home" icon, you still have to acknowledge the address, by clicking "OK".

There is an option to store your home address in the nav address book. Store it here, then navigate to it and long press the preset to store. It will automatically start when pressed.
