No "knock" intended, we have Nissans in the family. Very reliable, very economical, and a decent car overall. In the other thread, you’ll see I came out of a Nissan, ok ok it wasn’t a Sentra…

I came close to pulling the trigger on a Porsche Panamera but for $90000 and change you get the six cylinder. I opted for the F12 M sport instead and the TTV8 power plus the rear end of the Panamera is atrocious !!

Being German I have a bit of an inherent bias towards German cars...so my choices would be either an Audi A6 or a Mercedes E-class or CLS class.

I'd have to sell my shirt (among other things), but I'd go with with Maserati
Quattroporte S:

In my opinion, there are no finer looking cars than the Maserati line-up.

Audi would be my only other choice, or Porsche if I want to spend more. Not a huge fan of MB. Maybe even Infiniti. No Acura, Saab, Lexus, etc

Lightly used Quattroporte. Or any Aston Martin. Plus a Golf Synchro to drive on rainy days or when the others are in the shop.

I think it would be the Audi S8 for me. I generally hate Audis but the A8/S8 line has been the one model always engineered to category leading standards - it's like getting a Continental at a bargain price. After that it would be the Jag XFR which is coincidentally same price as my 550i.

My next choice would be the Audi A6. It comes very close to my BM.

I would probably go with the Audi A6, but the exterior doesnt do very much for me. New 911 would be awesome, but with 2 kids in college that might have to wait. Have had Infiniti, Acura in the past so may look that way as well. Nice problem to have!!

Hmm, I'll play. If weren't and object, I'd probably pick the new Jag XJ simply based on looks alone. Realistically however, if I had to give up our 5er, I'd take a current Volvo S80, which we almost bought instead...

Same here. Only my Audi would have to be Quattro since the front wheel drivetrain irks me to no end. Id say my second choice would be the E350, third choice would be the A6 Quattro and fourth choice would be VW CC VR6.

'Attaboy. Sometimes you have to actually have owned a Muscle Car to really understand how incredibly fun and soulful they can be. I had a Mustang GT before, and I worshipped it, I remember older Mustang guys, even ones who had $$$$ and had more refined cars, say "You just don't get it until you've owned a good one, Mustangs get into your blood and you eventually crave that feeling", or something like that. It's total truth for me as well.

As for the comments that the new Chargers are crap, I believe whoever's saying this is basing it on the old Chargers? (which are crap). The new ones are actually pretty refined (for a Dodge, at least), and well done vehicles. Of course, they still are bargain priced American Muscle-Sedans, so they will be a little rough around the edges by nature, but the new ones are great improvements over the older ones.
