2012 F07 Configurator
Does anyone know how long it might take for the 2012 F07 configurator to be up on the site?

I sent BMW an email about it. No answer yet... I asked them if they were planning on getting it working before the MY 2013 started production...

I could not wait for the BMWNA site so I used the posted 2012 sheet, BMWConfig.com, and the BMWNA 2011 build-your-own for the pictures.
Pricing on the BMWConfig matched the posted sheet and all matched the dealer invoice paperwork except for a missing $400 MACO fee within the invoice. I had sent numerous emails to BMWNA due to problems logging on to MY BMW and NEVER received any responses. |

Thank you for all the usefull infomation.
I am about to upgrade from a 328xi to a 2011 550i GT loaded and wanted to know if the deal is worth it... MSRP $72K Price after rebates $63.5K 36 month lease, 10K yr, (can buy miles at anytime for 1 cent more a mile (.16 instead of .15 at time of lease)) total down $3.7K $645 a month Money down includes: $725 ACQ fee, taxes $2.1K, 1st month $645, Doc Fee $75 & $225 for tinit windows rate was very low becasue of loyalty and the res. was 64% any advise would be appreciated, the GT give much more room than the 5 series and the price with options is "almost" a steal... thanks Last edited by NY_BMW; 10-19-2011 at 04:23 PM. |

Is above for a 550i or 550ix? and you mention rebates, do you know what they were for (are they specific for customer loyalty, ect... as a few of us have GT's on order and would like to know if there are additional plans out there right now)
Check this out for some comparisons : http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=569945 Also - if it's a lease are you paying multiple MSD's which we've found save about 9% on your monthly payments if you max them out (.00o49 in money factor). And no to MSD just the 1st month Incentives are loyalty, and the free nav. The rest is a left over and that no one wants a 400 hp engine with gas going to $5 a gallon in the northeast. |

Gotcha - it is a 2011.
What we found was that the 2012's were better deals with more standard and the 550's had better residual (maybe even 67% in some cases from dealers if you look through the link I sent you). Nav and Prem sound for example are standard. From what Iwantone and 1stBimmer did on the 550, you should get that price with x drive too on 2112. I opted for the 535 (still thinking about that) but it's a real toss up when you look at 400hp vs 300hp and what is standard on the 2012 AND the lease on a 550 was actually less than the 535. I went with fuel economy and less car insurance :-) If I were you, I'd price out the 2012 550ix with the options YOU want vs the left over and loaded cars to see what it comes out to.
