Black is always a great color for a BMW let alone the 650i vert! Very nice car thanks for sharing your pics, I'm still waiting for mine its in production as we speak.

Picture number 4...how do I show album art while playing. I must have spent a full day embedding art in my mp3s before the car arrived to find that I can't seem to display it... as we know US software versions have the oddest quirks, has anyone in the US been able to display their album artwork?

I have album artwork displayed in my 535xi. To my knowledge, it's not a setting, but rather part of the software.

With a little trial and error, and a little research around the web, I see that the album art isn't displayed from music stored on the music collection hard drive, but is displayed from my iPhone...which I have seen. Hopefully a future update will display album artwork for mp3s stored on the music collection HD....

Ah, that makes sense. I have an iPod that just stays in the car. I've never used the car's HD for music storage.

OP...Nice looking wheel. We aren't offered those in The States, are those 19"?

I think they're nice looking, too. I noticed them on the 640i's Build Your Own specs. They're 19" Style 366, according to the BMW site.

Yes they are 19 inches, and actually not chosen by me, but by BMW Korea guys who pre-ordered it...
along with the non-contrast stitch options and boring black leather seats

I was initially dissapointed with the catalogue pictures of the wheel,
but looks much better in real person, and in certain angles.

Same goes for the contrast stitch options,
thought it would be boring without the different colored stitches but looks gentle and elegant.

Album art works perfectly with mp3s stored in USB drives (that goes inside the middle storage area).
Maybe try playing directly from the USB drives, should work.
And also don't embed album art yourself, just download one that's already in it, just in case you are embedding it the wrong way.

Have not tried copying the files to iDrive hard drive; seems there's no need for it.
The USB drives are dirt cheap and I ordered many of them with large GB's

Mine does not show album art with iPhone in bluetooth streaming mode.
Suppose to show with iPhone 4S with bluetooth version 4.
