Makes total sense with the extra discounts and planning on keeping for many years. Sounds like a great deal on TCO basis.
If you had paid full sticker and sold after a few years it would be a different proposition as the market is full of F10s then.

Btw the new iDrive HD screen and functionality is awesome. One of my friends is installing it in his 2008 5 series. He bought the screen from a German vendor for close to $500, then has to add the harddrive piece that replaces the DVD and CD unit below the climate control knobs. I am waiting to see how it turns out, he is confident it can be retrofitted with various wiring harnesses that comes with the kit.

Run flats are an abomination. First thing I replaced on my car.

Oceans10 - a couple of folk have done the conversion - there is a good thread on the M5board about it.

Thanks for the feedback...they seem like pretty similar deals. Basically the CPO and comfort access for your HUD. The HUD seems pretty cool, but haven't found a car by me that actually has one installed to check it out.

Comfort access can be hacked so your car is more vulnerable to theft.
I have HUD and like it, but it is just a nice to have, not essential. Some people find it distracting. I sometimes use it for late night driving. Not that many e60s have it.

Maini that is a really loaded car - does it have cold weather package - seems like a lot of trouble to order the heated steering wheel.

Thanks!

Just noticed you are from WI...I'm from Appleton and my wife is from Seymour!

A great few months for Wisconsin sports...I wish the Brew Crew would figure it out tonight!
