Why?
Cause you is Super Brainy. And both Ginger and what's her face wanna be with you but you don't even know it cause you're so busy being brainy and learning brainy things and doing brainy things.

I mean the thing is you're money.
You're so money and you don't even know it...

And he asks "why?"

LOL. This thread is so f'ed up, it is not even funny.

What's really jacked is that we should be making money to pay for this crap. Instead, Bimmerfest...

Hahaha. I got it now. Was Ginger really a ginger? I can't remember... I haven't seen it in about 10 years - for you old guys, that's about half my life I had a redhead phase a couple years ago (ugly ending lol), but I remember Ginger being pretty hot (and I hadn't even hit puberty then haha).

On a more serious note, that arrangement might work pretty well. My physics and organic chem background have taught me how to make some great things that might be useful on an island - wine, beer, hard cider, whiskey, aspirin, posion darts for hunting, pickling and curing etc.

I could probably live on an island just a few requests: (1) my 6er, (2) a long paved road sans cops around the entire island with long straights and nice twisty bits, (3) Ginger - preserved to her 1960s body, not the same actress as she's probably older than my grandma, and that's just nasty, (4) an iPad with Wi-Fi, and (5) a Starbucks. I don't think that's unreasonable

Haha. Yeah, since my job that I make decent money for is based on productivity, it is a bit of a problem. All I can say is thank God it is senior year and I can be a slacker (i.e. following these threads religiously lol) and keep my perfect GPA. Senioritis is great *cough - 39 days 'til graduation - cough*.

You know I've been thinking.

There really is not enough "o's" in the word "smooth" to describe Southern's
"smooth young male skin,"

Again, Southern's term (not mine.)

"I CAN'T QUIT YOU SOUTHERN!!!!"

Damn it! Some good it did to blur my face in the pic I posted. Now y'all know. The green polo must have been the clue that allowed you to put the pieces together. I hear that most leprechuns are 6' 4". And yes, I live in Creighton. It's a miracle I still have my rims. hahaha

The AMG looks better than the SL550. But why those freaking cataracts I have no idea. And, did anyone notice when they designed this that they didn't put the screen in the center of the stack? That would drive me insane. Not sure about quilting on the seats, but I may like it in person. The back is really nice. It's just butter. Butter face.

The offset screen is very nearly a deal breaker (like the touch screen in the XKR). It is a little thing in the grand scheme of the car, but my OCD would flare every time I noticed it being off center.

How often does the SL get a facelift? I feel like they just changed it.

I think it's about a 7 year cycle for a complete face lift.

The last change was a pretty heavy mid cycle refresh. The outgoing bodystyle started it's run in 2003, and received a new face in 2009 (I think), so 9-10 years, actually.

orthostatic hypotension wow. I didn't thought it was more often. I have't paid that close to Merc since I sold my soul to BMW.

most luxury car makers like BMW, Benz and Lexus have a 6 - 7 yrs model cycle, and they do the facelift around 4 or 5 yrs into the production, usually with Benz takes the longest, thus it feels like the SL just had a facelift which happened in 2008

so 7 yrs is a complete generation model cycle while 4 yrs would be the standard facelift point
