No kidding. I thought it was seven years. I thought I would be two years in an old body style come 2019 and '20...

Hopefully by then, the X6 50i and 650i will be an X6M and M6 in my stable.

The X6 M is unbelievable. I drove it at the PC and was amazed. It was the most powerful car we were able to drive, and it just brings the X6 to a whole new level. It definitely felt big, but it was still an ///M. It wasn't an M3 by any means, but it was phenomenal. It made an X5 feel like a regular SUV loaded down with a palate of bricks.

I think my X6 50i is pretty powerful now for an SUV (SAV). The X6M must be a blast.

And speaking of which, the X6 feels like a small car drive to me. Much more so than the 650. That said, the 650 is probably messing with my perception lol.

I don't find the car that big in terms of maneuvering. Visibility sucks (thank God for the cameras and sensors), but I'm not bothered with it's turning radius... but, as I said before, I'm used to driving cars that are the antithesis of a Prius. This car might as well be a Z4

You know, it could be. I was counting my 335...I was the first one in Houston in 2007, so 2007, 08 ,09, 10, 11, and 12. The 13 comes out next year, so yea maybe 7 then.

You are going to be in an i8 by then anyway. LOL

The concept of the i8 was one of the reasons I realized "oh, sh*t! I need to get a real German sports coupe before it's too late and I'm forced to drive a battery operated 'sports car' that has the same grunt as a Kia Rio so it plays a recording of an M5 from yesteryear."

I can't wait to see what the future holds for the automotive world, but it's going to be hard to think of a hybrid/electric as a sports car - no matter what the performance figures show. Gotta club the baby seals now while I have the chance

it's average 7 yrs indeed, thought it's a bit odd what they did to E90, cuz it has the shortest model cycle while there are models with longer than 7 yrs cycle as well.

E63 and E64 had a 7 yrs run, with updated engine came out three yrs after first introduced. then again, how they wanna work F12 and F13 is really everyone's guess at this point, but with the new updated engine coming out next year, it sure seems very ODD with how they managing this portfolio here

Hahaha. It's even harder to be discrete when you're snapping pictures. Been there, done that. I think its a prerequisite to have an ego big enough to not be bothered by those looks to buy a 6er.

Not to drive my point home, but if you look at both of those pictures, the last generation 6 will be, what, 14 years old when our 6 gets replaced. I say, "Damn. You go Chris Bangle." Until I clicked on it, I thought you sent the same picture twice. All four beautiful cars and very well executed by BMW (sans the recall).

I noticed that too. It's something to do with the lens and the lighting. I never noticed it before this picture. I think twisted wheels would probably hurt its acceleration and handling lol.

Yeah probably. I'm no automotive engineer but I know NASCar fiddles with camber depending on track conditions.

I used to play NASCar on my PC when I was young.
