E82 / E88 1 Series (2008 - 2013)
BMWs throw back to the iconic 2002, with a renewed form and function. The smallest car in BMW's line up but still packs a punch. Available in coupe or convertible, powered by either an inline 6 in the 128 or the twin turbo rocket sled 135. |

E90 Rim fitment onto a 128i
Hi All,
I'm currently looking into getting a set of winters for my car and found a great deal on a set off an e90 sedan. Size of the tires is : 225/45 R17 OEM tires on my 128i are 205/55/16 I'm aware it's not the most ideal idea to get bigger winters, but I plan on getting a 135i next year so I believe I will require the 17" for those to clear the brakes. Anyways as far as offset goes, will I be fine, or will I require spacers?

They will fit. Same size I have on my 128i for winter.

Any spacers required, or did they go right on? What kind of rims are yours on?

I believe that the 17's you are looking for should be from the e46. I have mounted my winters on OEM BMW wheels - pictures elsewhere - and those came from the e46. The offset on the 128 (as also the 135) is pretty close to the ones on the e46. The e90 I believe has a different offset.

If they are from an e46 then they will def. fit. I've got my old E82 wheels on my E46.
