Your sales assistant should have setup and given that to you when BMW Assist was setup.

I am not aware of any portal to allow login from home.

Was anyone else successful in downloading and using BMW remote app for android in USA? I have Samsung Vibrant, Samsung SII and T mobile Dash 4G but I do not see the app in play store (market) and by clicking the link above, it says the app is not allowed in your device's country !!! Does anyone know if it works on samsung Galaxy S3?? Thanks

Hey guys -- Just picked up my 2013 535i today -- and was able to find the following post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...5#post29642685 --- if you scroll down, you'll see a link to google docs file, which is the my BMW Remote app for Android (version 1.4.7/1.3.5.) I download the file to my VZW Thunderbolt (US) - and its working perfectly.

Thanks for the link. I saw recommendations to use a default password like 1234 or something like that. Did you have a password that was already set up?

For my account -the username was the email address that was on file for BMW assist. The password was the BMW assist password, which was also set up at the time of delivery - in all caps.

Got it work. I remembered my Assist password. HTC One X.

Anyone get the vehicle position to work? I get an error message that the vehicle position is unknown. I've updated BMW Assist in iDrive, which is what enabled the other functions to work, but no the position.

Google Play app for BMW remote is not available for me - "This item cannot be installed in your device's country."

so i got the uk version from http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1808372

login was smooth with BMW assist password, set up the 4 digit pin as well.

but when i try locking/unlocking and other control functions I get this error message.

"error during data transfer please try again"

on similar lines, i suspect that in vehicle locate option, its not locating my car, but just my phone. I am never much away from my car.
