2008 528xi Xenon Question
I'm new but read and learn a lot from this great site! I just sold my 2003 530i and purchased a very clean 2008 528xi. My 2003 had blue xenon lights, but these xenon are white. Is this something new or just an option? Have not read much on these? Would love to get some Angel Eyes but want them to match obviously but do not know if they will? Also HID's for the fogs, what are my options there?
Pic's to share? Thanks! |

Hi, welcome. Temperature of the Xenon bulbs from the old car and new are different - resulting in the blue vs. white.
Those topics have been discussed in several threads... please search. |

Thanks, I did search but could not find anything quick. So having said that I guess you are telling me that mine are xenon just bright white.
Thanks again! |

Hmmm, this is my 500th post.
Anyway, your stock HIDs should be 4300K in color. Still alot better than the standard halogens I have on my 528XI. If you get 6000K bulbs, you will see a more noticable blue and still retain most of the brightness. You will need to purchase a 6000K HID kit for the fogs and angel eyes also to match.
