I bought a 44 cent machine screw to try and fix my ignition lock link. It worked.....once. Now the lock is stuck and I can't turn the key far enough to engage the tumber release to get it out and see what went wrong. . I'm trying everything I can to avoid taking the column lock out and buy a new one (currently OOS at Pelican and it costs $156 when it is in stock)

Yup, tried that. Jammed solid. Neither the switch end of the link nor the key will turn. I wish I had the column lock out like that. I know how to release the tumbler if I have it out, but can't do it with the lock assembly still attached to the column.
