I've found a couple places with "remanufactured wheels" in 8.5"
I would just call and google research them also...Ive bought wheels like that before for my Honda when I had it, place seemed sketch, but did my research and they were legit...this was 3 years ago and I got 4 18x8 enkei with tires m&b for $600 shipped...def worth looking into it.

Doesn't the voltage regulator come with a new alternator?

It probably will......

What about the MAF code? Did you clear them to see if they come back?

Unless you're any good at rebuilding alternators, best leave it to a shop. Internal regs suck. I'd install the alternator before the knock sensors cause its much easier. If the reg is bad, youd know, it wouldnt charge at the proper voltage, or it would cause a drain. FWIW (coming from someone who works at an auto electric shop)

The guy I bought it from had it tested and said it's perfectly fine.

I may test it also just to be sure...

^I have similar valve stem caps on my stock Style 30s, except they are just round instead of hexagonal. Nice.

I will be for a while. Too much work in them getting them fixed up to their present state.

(Unless a set of BBS basket weaves come along at a reasonable price.)
