Errors- How to progress fixing these e87
HI
My problem is that the transmission thumps.......the error messages are [Car: 118i, E87, 02/2005. Australia (RHD)] 1.Selector Position Switch Fault 2. EGS Communication Fault 3. Transmission DATA Connector leaking 4. ECCentric Shaft Fault Is there a relationship between ECCentric shaft and Transmission(Auto). What needs to be done to fix this transmission issue.....or Do I need to fix the VANOS which may be causing the trans problem....is there a relationship between this. Would be heaps useful to know this and resolve at a resonable cost.... What comes first Suggestions any ideas on cost of repairs from your experience. ta Tim
