83 528e dropping idle

When i put my clutch in 9 times out of 10 my idle is dropping and sometimes stalling the engine. Anyone ever run into this or have a solution for the problem? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You didn't say if you can drive the car?its harder to give a solution without knowing.

Is the idle ok when you are not releasing the clutch? we need more information but a dirty ICV (Idle Control Valve) could be your headache or a bad ICM (Idle Control Module). If you are planning on keeping this car invest in the Bentley repair manual as it has very good troubleshooting guides.
