Why did you buy SAP and DHP?

When I drove the X3 with SAP only, I was impressed at how different the sport setting made the X3 feel. I liked the handling and the steering had a reasonable feel. For those of you that drove the SAP and DHP version, what was it that made you buy the DHP version? Was it a similar "wow, this is really cool too" experience also? Unfortunately I can't find a DHP version around so just looking for some more input. Yeah, yeah I know this has been talked about at length but couldn't find this type of answer and I wanted to push it to the top.

This is exactly my question as well. I test drove the x3 and enjoyed the feel of the sport setting but there was not an x3 with the DHP available so I couldn't compare the two. It would be helpful if anyone could shed some light on this.

Winston apparently people have talked this issue to death and don't want to shed any more light on it.

If you search through the various threads at Bimmerfest as well as at x3.xbimmers.com, there are a few posts by people who were able to do a comparison test drive between an X3 with DHP and an X3 without DHP and comment on the differences. There aren't that many posts with a direct comparison, which is why I said a few, but I feel they would be the most relevant to your question.
