October snow!
I was planning to purchase a set of 19" winter wheels for my X6 some time next month....unfortunately we already have snow in Rhode Island and I only own summer 20"s. I am not thrilled with the wheel options offered by the dealership or by tire rack . There are several other discussion threads about the "best snow tires" for the X6, so I don't want to rehash that topic. Instead I am wondering which 19" wheels/rims are preferred by forum members?

emmm, looks like you need a smaller wheel to fit with tire rack or a winter tire on 20inch. check eBay may help abit.

I am pretty sure that I will go with the Beyern mesh 19" wheels....if they fit.

Providence = preparation in advance, foresight, care, guardianship, prudent management even; economy and control exercised by a divine direction. Is choosing style over providence sensible? The prudent manager would fit unstylish 19", winter wheels and tyres for the four dark months rather depend upon 20" lower profile, wider style statements.........yes?

A very commendable reply sir(?), thank you for indulging this ex Yorktown resident. I trust that your foresight and prudence brings you safely through this winter's months challenges in some style. [ |

I went with OEM 19's with Pirelli Scorpion Ice and Snows ... I love it!

Yeah....OEM wheels are nice and $1000 more installed. Having said that, I am already having a bit of buyers remorse. I like the look, but am back at the shop currently because they were not installed properly. I have a right rear leak around the stem.
