Yep. My 335d is alpine white and is my 3rd or 4th alpine white car. I actually had an alpine white 535i on order until the dealer made me a stupid offer to take an in stock black unit.

I concur. I did lease a BMWNA car (they are often sold as executive cars) and it had a fair share of wear and tear on it. It was a compelling deal at the time though and I would do it again as a lease, but not a buy.

If the object is to purchase, I think cars coming off 2 or 3 -year leases presents a great option. The cars should have low mileage and, generally, less wear and tear. Of course, the greatest plus is not having to suffer that HUGE first year depreciation hit. I still have memories of selling my 650i convertible that I owned for less than 11 months and losing $25K in value.
