Holiday Financing

Does anyone have intel on when Holiday Financing might start? My wife and I are looking at a 535i xDrive GT with the following options: 20-WAY PWR MULTI-CONTOUR BUCKET SEATS W/DUAL MEMORY; 4-ZONE AUTOMATIC CLIMATE CONTROL; CAMERA PKG; COLD WEATHER PKG; COMFORT ACCESS KEYLESS ENTRY; CONVENIENCE PKG; HDD NAVIGATION SYSTEM; HEATED FRONT SEATS; IPOD & USB ADAPTER; PREMIUM SOUND PKG; REAR-VIEW CAMERA; SIRIUS SATELLITE RADIO W/1-YEAR SUBSCRIPTION; SPORT PKG; DARK GRAPHITE W/ EVEREST GRAY, DAKOTA LEATHER SEAT TRIM. Sticker is $71,025, but USAA purchase price is $60,570. Seems like a good deal already, but with the slow sales of the GT I am thinking about waiting for the Holiday Financing to kick off. Any intel on the start date and possible offers?

Kevin

I can't imagine you doing that much better than the already over $10K off sticker you have with USAA for the car you've described, but good luck!

You are already getting a better deal than most of us got on our cars. Over $10K is a lot. Trying to squeeze the last penny out of a deal may not necessarily be the smartest move here - bird in the hand and all that. Good luck.

You are probably right. Best case scenario is an additional 1-2k off via the holiday credit. I too am waiting to see if incentives get better.

Actually I think they will find out this afternoon or tomorrow.

It strikes me that you may not be able to combine any seasonal incentives offered by BMW with special pricing through your credit union. As I understand the latter, there is a network of dealers that credit unions work through that enables them to offer this type of pricing to their members. In this case, it really may be "apples and oranges". At any rate, you'll soon know the answer to that question.

Well, my wife and I sealed the deal today and we couldn't be happier with the car. $60,570 and 3.9% for 72 months. Pics to follow.

Congrats! It might have a controversial look but for $60k it's no doubt a lot of car.
