Mein Auto: 2004 x5
Question x5 4.4 n62 p0011 (2731) camshaft control inlet

Hello,

2004 e53 n62 88k. Just did valve stem seals / alternator bracket / upper timing cover seals. Used the All German Auto kit to do valve stem seals, so did not have to remove the heads or cams.

279e : output stage exhaust flap fault (don't think car has one?)
2731 : camshaft inlet control b1 (p0011)
p0301 , p0302 , p0303 , p0304 all cylinders on bank 1 missfiring.

cyl 1-4 vanos pos. inl. 120
cyl 5-8 vanos pos. inl. 120
vanos adapt. cyl 1-4 inl. 86.20 !!!!!
should read like cyl 5-8.
vanos adapt. cyl 5-8 inl. 127.50

valve lift specs. mirror each other on both banks.
have swapped valvetronic solenoids, no effect.
have swapped servomotors , no effect.
performed vanos adaptation reset to no effect.
reset servomotors to no effect.

I am suspecting possible damage to eccentric cam pos. sensor b1 from valve cover removal. Or could oil pressure leakdown from alternator bracket removal set vanos timing off?

thanks in advance for any help.
