LZET vs LZEU Ivory White Nappa Leather w/Black Dashboard

Beside the fact that one requires Modern Line and the other Luxury Line or sport, any idea what the difference is between the two? I assume one is two tone? I'm afraid if I ask the CA that he won't know. I have already received two wrong answers from him

Modern line uses an Oyster colored dash, while Luxury line has a black dashboard. I don't have the pricing guide in front of me, but this is shown with the code and description. I don't understand why dealers can't make sense of this.

OK, update. I have the pricing guide now at work. I see both LZET and LZEU state black dashboard. However, LZEU says it needs Modern Line. If you're not getting Modern Line, I wouldn't worry.

I think the issue is whether or not one of those two Ivory with Black Dash is an Ivory with Black Dash and Black Carpeting and the other with Black Dash and Ivory carpeting.

Correct. The color of the carpeting and bottom of the doors is in question. It would also be nice to know if the carpet matches the back of the seats. I'm suspecting that ZMM has black dash, carpet, lower doors but it would be good to have conformation.

It will be interesting to see what color the headliners will be. I assume the same color as the upholstery but if I recall correctly, there were also images posted that suggested otherwise - like this one:

That looks like an anthracite headliner - part of ZMM.

I'd say it's a European spec'd version with optional Anthracite Headliner because ZMM would have an M Steering Wheel.

A Mocha Headliner, however, wouldn't be that bad, either.

I just hope that ordering ZLL won't result in a light headliner resulting in 3 different interior colors (seats, dash & headliner).

Oh, I just checked page 13 of the German pricing guide and it seems that we could indeed get 3 different colors (see picture). Oh, well...

If this helps?

LZET: Ivory White, Interior Black
LZEU: Ivory White, Upper Dash/Upper Door Trim/Steering Wheel Black
LZEO: Ivory White, Upper Dash/Upper Door Trim/Steering Wheel Oyster Dark

So it seems LZET only has Ivory Seats and the rest is black, LZEU should have a lower dash and mid section of the doors in Ivory with black carpet and LZEO is the "lightest" version without any blacks.

The headliner is black in the M sport line, but with Individual you can get the headliner in upholstery color.

That does, I think. So it sounds like what I am looking for is LZET if the look that I'm going after is similar to this:

Hmm, if I would have to guess, I'd say the image you posted could be closer to LZEU.

That's true - although in that case, you're choice is limited to the actual Individual interior colors.

What is interesting though is that there is no "standard" headliner-color even if you don't get an Individual (Anthracite or Alcantara in upholstery color). With Mocha on the ZLL, you will probably get a white/grey headliner (same applies to any non M-Package with Black leather) while a beige interior comes with a beige headliner. I assume this is beige because it looks a bit too dark for ivory..

Hopefully, we will have the choice to special-order the Anthracite headliner because IMO, that is simply the best match when opting for the Mocha. There is a reason why the press images show Mocha with that particular headliner..

The more I look at the interiors the more confused I get. I almost started thinking about Mocha because I like the stitching and worry about the maintenance on Ivory seats. However based on the price sheet, it seems that only the Dakota Leather gets the exclusive stitching.

I don't think there is a Mocha Dakota leather with a stitching - only black and beige.

I'm looking at the German guide and the Mocha (LZMW) and Ivory (LZET) Nappa both show a stitching - although you can see it better on Mocha.

You can see it in the .pdf-link I previously posted - also on page 13.

Thanks, I missed the pdf in the earlier post. It looks like it's going to be Mocha unless I can find another confirmed two toned color. The DE pdf does list Cinnamon Dakota with ZMM but on the US sheets don't.

They also offer an Oyster Dakota leather with stitching over there. As always, the choice in Germany is bigger - but so is the price-tag so I won't complain..

M Sport always comes with an anthracite headliner unless you special order it, no? Mocha Nappa leather comes with the stitching with every picture I've seen. Also, from the pics the carpeting is clearly black.

Yup, Mocha seems to be the only color that clearly comes with Black. I know there are others but it seems there is confusion and I don't want surprises on the day of delivery.
