Question Tyre pressures for 245/40R20 and 275/35 R20 combo.

Can anyone advise me of the recommended tyre pressures for the 245/40 R20 (front) and 275/35 R20 (rear) combination. The recommended pressure guide on the drivers door plate, incredibly, does not include this permutation ! I am currently using 2.6 bar at the fron and 2.7 bar for the rear tyres but this is just an intelligent guess. Given the many threads about rear tyre wear on the 20" tyres in this forum I think it is pretty important to get the pressures right.
I asked my dealer 2 days ago. He didn't know and is waiting for the " tyre fitter to arrive" !

Page 244 of the User Manual (at least the US version). That's good for speeds less than 100mph. If you're planning higher speeds, then you need to increase it, but you can, or should, be able to find it in the manual.

That's great. Many thanks. European (English) handbook contains no such advice.

You can download a pdf of the US manual at www.bmwusa.com or, PM me with your e-mail address, and I can send you a copy. I didn't look at the in-car version of the manual, but I got this from the hard-copy.
