Pressure regulating valve

I have done from replace pressure regulating valve and i found it very dirty can cause closed

car 750li 2006

this is a pic for old one, it can cause serious damage for Motor such as white smoke and Unstable race

Thanks man, pretty insightful i will order the parts and try to tackle this. Maybe it will eliminate the smoke issue.
