What great movie(s) have you seen lately? LIST!

Just saw Animal Kingdom, an Australian film. Very good movie. I rate it a 7.5 out of 10.
Rotten Tomatos score: 94% It's a drama/thriller type film.

I don't mind movie music as soft background music. But when it loudly turns sad, romantic, scary or joyful, the producer/director is insulting the viewers intelligence.

I just saw 13 Assassins and it was good, probably not great. It's a beautiful movie on Blu-Ray but unless you are into completely unrealistic fight scenes that stretch on to like 45 minutes, the movie sort of drags and becomes mediocre at that point. I think the story and everything around it was good up to the point of the fight scene. 3.5/5.0 rating.

I thought it just got even better at that point

Moneyball. This from a guy who more or less averts his eyes when baseball shows up anywhere on tv etc.

Robert Redford, er I mean Brad Pitt, IS the movie. Underplayed and expressive without the aforementioned manipulation. Jonah Hill is even more underplayed but still very communicative.

I enjoyed the film, maybe it's because I love Pitt


I saw my favorite movie of all time last weekend: Legends of the Fall

Just watched "The Guard" this week. Best movie I've seen in ages (at least a year).

This movie Rocks! I think I'll go see it again. My only complaint would be "too much mist in the scene when she wakes up".

The movie surpassed my expectations, and so did the movie Wolverine. Yes, the last portion of the film seemed rushed man

finally saw Inglourious Basterds. ...liked it

Recently seen Columbiana which I thought was pretty good! Little like mission impossibly mixed with an assassin movie but entertaining to say the least. Also saw the Warriors (MMA Movie) I was a little hesitant to care to watch it because most MMA movies I have seen were an inaccurate joke that usually appeals to they typical "Affliction/Tapout clothing wearing D-bag" that has never been in a fight... this one however was a pleasure to watch.

Drive was alright, I was drunk the first time I saw it and thought it was amazing, I saw it again and thought it was good but not that great IMO

One of the best movies I've seen in a while. Thanks for the recommendation.

Not only are Brendan Gleeson and Don Cheadle excellent as expected, the supporting cast is well above average and glues the movie together. Reminds me of a toned down Tarantino with Irish wit. 4.5 stars.

Btw M5, I saw the awakening, didn't liek it too much. The first 2 parts were real good

I see the journey 2 the mysterious island, underworld 4, final destination 5. These films is the best film. I really like these movies. The film's story is so amazing. the triad is such a terrible movie. I really like this movie.

Just saw "Exit Through The Gift Shop"

I found it to be a pretty interesting documentary about Thierry Guetta, or Mr. Brainwash (MBW). It is about a film maker who becomes a 'famous' artist. He also designed an ablum cover for Madonna.

I saw The Chaser on Netflix streaming the other day. I thought it was entertaining and based on a true serial killer.

I just watched Melancholia and Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.
Both very good, I thought.
In Dragon, I didn't want the beginning sequence to end. Trent Reznor can stick with movie music as far as I'm concerned. Love it!
