I don't see URL links, what have I got wrong?

I've noticed since being here that if someone posts a link to a video such as U-Tube I don't see it, not the link, not anything, and usually only know that one exists by what the poster says. Then, if I'm REALLY curious I'll go into he page source and find the link to view it which is a pretty tedious way to go about in forums.

Is there some setting in site preferences I missed, or is it the use of the chrome browser that's making my life unnecessarily troublesome?

I see images fine.

Do you have an example of a page where this happens? The forum typically translates the video links into embedded videos. I have not experienced this problem personally and I view the site in Chrome most of the time. If you give me an example I can see if there is anything else going on.

An example: there's a link posted by me here: https://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sh...t=#post8589388
It's a utube visdeo and although I posted it both by using the provided URL insertion button and by using bracketed URL-?URL methods I don't see the link or a clickable item leading to the link in my own post. It's just a blank box below the entered text.

I'm sorta' new with using chrome and don't find anything in it's settings which might have brought this about, not to say that I believe that it's impossible for me to do something lame that way.

There was an extra http:// in the link that you posted so it didn't show anything. I updated the post to just use one http:// in the link url and it seems to be working now. You may have to view the page source again to see it since the code gets translated automatically.
