M 70 fan
Does the fan come off by just unscrewing (clockwise) the big nut (23mm I think) behind the fan?

Yes, you need to "hold" the pulley. There is a special tool that is specifically for this. They come up on Ebay every now and then as a set.
You can use 2 crossed screwdrivers, but that leads to some severly injured knuckles....
