i just stumbled on this thread. Is this deal over? Any way to still order one for those terms? Also since the majority of the low lease price is a product of the huge up front reductions and credits, would a 27 month lease be even cheaper?

Also one thing i didn't get:

Cap cost reduction: $2,750 (Drive off will be reduced by $2500 later due to credit, so essentially $250) --------- which credit is that $2500 coming from?

As far as all of us are being told, there are no more allocations on this car available anymore....but i'm just passing along the info from the dealers....
7,500 ECO Credit available. $3,500 Option Allowance available. $2,500 Credit Available all coming from BMW. we heard something like 19 Li's and 30 I's total were allocated...so not a lot.

thank you. i'm assuming more allocations will eventually open up but probably not until these incentives expire. the $7500 should remain.

Does anyone know if there are any further option changes to the 2012 model year active hybrid 7? BMWUSA's configurator shows a sport steering wheel for the active7 even though the 2012 brochures indicates otherwise. However the 2012 brochure has a disclaimer saying the equipments shown are from 2011 model year active7. I couldn't find any info online since the active 7's 2012 production started in September while the rest of the 7 series started back in March.

Thanks, iwantone. Based upon your post, I have a production number, sight unseen. Pick up date in Munich in March. The deal was too good to pass up. My only question is about the trunk. I've checked several area dealers and no one has an AH7. One dealer told me that the battery takes up a big chunk of the deep trunk space. Would somebody please post a picture of the trunk of the AH750i? Thanks.

It's only a small corner the battery takes. I saw it when I test drove the 2011.
But we will be getting pics from Iwantone soon of his new car!

My lease is up in end of October and I am looking to do my first ED and it would be great if I could get a deal like this. When would be a good time to look for deals like this?

Hey Hammadurb............. the hybrid fire sales is over.. the good thing is you can still drive a $108K Hybrid for the price of a $100k gas... and the Hybrid performace is better.

Still available?

So the eco credit appears to be through the end of February. Is that only on cars on dealer lots? If you wanted to do ED, do you have to take delivery by end of February or just confirm an order for the car?

With all of Europe being snowed in, it would be nice to order this by say the end of February, lock in the credit, but pick the car up somewhere in Mar-April. Between this and ED pricing a lease can be comparable to a loaded up 5....

Yes you can lock the $7,500 eco credit for 90 days from end of Feb... so a April or May pickup is possible.. I have one open car if you are interested.

Just came back from ED this past weekend. Picked up my 750 AH Saphire black on black, shadowline, 20" wheels, luxury seating, ceramic controls, bmw apps, sirius. Car was about 105k thanks to the discounts mentioned above i got it for a very good price. This is alot of car for what i'm paying for, and it's the only hybrid actually tuned for power more than fuel economy. It's pretty fast. After coming from 2 745i's, 2 E60 M5's, a few M3's this will be perfect to fill in the slot till the F10 M5 comes stateside.

What about the Porsche, Lexus, Infiniti, etc. hybrids? The Lexus LS600h is very similar to the 750iAH in specs and engine performance. I think the first performance hybrid was the 2007 Lexus GS450h. The Porsche 918 will be the fastest production hybrid to date (199mph top speed) - http://money.cnn.com/2011/03/21/auto...rice/index.htm

All the performance hybrids collectively are less well known than the Toyota Prius.
