It's comforting to know that the fee includes liability insurance to protect the track itself but too bad the 5-series owner pictured above would have to buy his own insurance separately (optional). And for a grand a day, the food and drinks at lunch better be damn good! I'd like another free Shirley Temple, please. Does that private Club Chalet offer a full body massage with happy ending as part of the package too?

I am a member of the Lime Rock Drivers Club and I can assure you that this is a very unique experience and is well worth the cost.

You will be on the track with one of the club's top notch instructors (one of them just won the 25 Hours of Thunderhill) and will be on the track with a handful of other cars.
It is a very different track experience than a BMWCCA or PCA track day (not to imply that those aren't a lot of fun too!)
