2010 E61 6spd ZMP at New Country BMW

I'm not really sure where this belongs, probably not in classifieds, since I'm not selling my own car, and I'm not affiliated with the dealership either. Anyway, I've just noticed a 2010 535xi Touring, manual transmission and ZMP on sale at New Country BMW in Hartford, and wanted to give a heads up, since there are only 30 of '10 ZMP manual wagons in existence.

ZCW was standard that year. Only rear seat heating was optional.

The real strike against the car is the absence of Nav and PDC. Most E61s have them.

Glad to say this beauty is now sitting in my garage along side the wife's 08 535xiT MT. Prior owner took care of it (thanks if you're on this forum!).
Now I don't have to ask to borrow the wife's!

Wow - great find! Very rare! I have an 08 E61 Auto that I got new and installed Dinan S2. Enjoy driving it every time. Although my wife's 2013 E350C4 is a lot of fun, I'll take the E61 on any road trip I can...

Number of E61 w/ZMP

Hi ynguldyn:

Interested in where you found that there were only 30 2010 ZMP 6-speed Tourings.

I have perhaps the last one ever brought into NA (Euro Delivery in mid-May 2010). Last time at Dinan they told me my VIN indicated it was the last 6-speed made.

Cheers, ED

I just spent some quality time with www.bmwvin.com and Excel. If you know one VIN, it's really easy to figure out the complete range. Since it was so small (just over 100 cars), I just went one by one (I wish I had access to ASAP, I could probably script it instead of doing it manually). Since I also had free Carfax, I also noted where those cars were titled, so from your location I know which car is yours. I have to disappoint you: there were five more built after yours.

Nice color combo btw.

Nice. I think I'll be keeping my eyes out for an LCI E61 6MT in the coming year.

There are more people interested in them than there are cars available. Because of that, prices are ridiculous. For any given age/mileage/options combination, you can get an X5 for thousands less than a manual E61, even though X5s cost $5K-$10K more new.

This is hilarious. I'm over on an F30 forum and everyone's talking about how terrible resale is on manual transmission cars.. I keep trying to tell them that every BMW I've ever seen has higher resale on manual transmissions, but they won't listen.

People who buy cars brand-new.. all those people worried about resale and buying the most boring-ass colors and options.. *sigh* They don't realize it's the boring-ass cars that DON'T have good resale value!

I might also keep my eyes out for E91 328xDrives. Not buying a truck.
