The idea that a car has to have a rock hard suspension in order to handle properly or in order to "feel the road" is simply not true. A properly sorted out suspension will generally be firm but should not be harsh.
When the suspension is too stiff both handling and comfort will suffer. CA

Thanks for the replies guys. Its good to know that this is normal for earlier 335xi. I was worried it was just me. One thing is for sure, ill be a pro at dodging pot holes. I'm going to probably switch to non run flats ASAP. Seems to be the only solution.
