Z3 Alarm system

I pulled my radio out but did not disconnect wires. Now, my remote key won"t work. Any ideas?

Had to pull stereo out to work on heater temperature control switch.
I forgot to say that my remote key was a dealer installed option when we purchased the car.

You need to unplug the alarm switch that the rear radio support fits into. Unplugs from the side.

Just curious. Why did you pull the stereo out?

I've heard that when reinstalling the the radio, you must ensure the gray antena looking thing that sticks out of the back of the stereo, ends up back into the hole in a bracket towards the firewall. It is possible to reinstall the stereo misaligned. Use a flashlight to see the hole and make sure you install the stereo aiming for that hole. Let me know if that works.

Aligned radio all up . Noted from an older suggestion to open both doors ,hood and hatch then close. It worked and reset itself .all is fine .Thanks
