Mystery Switch is it 6 Series?

I am trying my luck in all the 80's BMW forums to see if anyone recognizes this switch:

Please let me know if you have seen this before, or know what it is.

Thanks.

Realoem doesn't pull up anything for that part number. Garage door opener from a later model car Or burglar alarm?? The red and green lights suggested that to me.

That is exactly what it appears to be. I have it in my '89 e24.
