Soooo. Do you think the new F30 will be selling for full MSRP?
Dealer wants me to lease a 5 series bad. Tells me the new F30 will be selling like hot cakes at full MSRP for 6 months and that a lease will be almost the same price as the 5 with all the discounts I can get with the 5. Thoughts?

Brand new, well anticipated cars do sell for near, full, and sometimes above MSRP for a few months until availability is sufficient.

Yes for at least six months or until the end of the production cycle sometime late June or July. BTW what's your dealer offering?

Correct. Waiting at least one model year increases your chances of getting a car that is less buggy, has more standard features and costs less to buy or lease.

Sure will....wait six months and good deals will be available all over the place. There is plenty of good competition.

I doubt in this economy they can sell at full MSRP, unless they limit the production like the 1M
![]() Of course the new F30 will be mass produced and will compete with the C, A, G and IS..., which are all heavily discounted. |

I believe that every dealer will likely tell you that and for some it's vaid. However, you can always work the deal anyway. I think it will all depend on each dealer and the local market.
Of course I also believe he is telling you that to create a sense of urgency and to force a decision. Right now, you might be the bird in the hand.......

Reading about all the discounts being given to fellow posters, like to know the dealer's name and contact info... Look forward to your reply

I plan on ordering mine asap. Also plan on leasing it. Not sure they will want to budge to much on price, but i have bought 10+ cars from them so something like 1500 off msrp seems reasonable.

Can't imagine it will sell for MSRP. It's a BMW, not an exotic.
