how long from order to delivery in New England?

The real question is how long to get a production slot?

Anyone know if an order for an X6 is placed in December, how long to expect delivery in the north east? I think the strong demand for X3 may be slowing the delivery of X6/X5?

I am in NY and just ordered this month, the expected delivery is Feb 15 or so. Hope that helps!

I ordered a 2012 X6 50i on 10/15/11. Picking it up 12/12/11. It took a month before dealer confirmed production slot. from actual start of production, it took less than 2 weeks to deliver to dealer in NY.

Hello all, I was just a little anxious today. I was told last Friday the 13th that my vehicle was released to the carrier for transport to port of exit.
I don't know what that means. I'm guessing it means it is on a truck and ready for transport to dealer. Today is the 17th, and still no car. How long does it usually take to get an X6 delivered from the Spartansburg S.C. plant to New Jersey?

Not sure the answer to your question. I don't think domestic cars go to VPC? So it should be simply factory to dealer. Depends on how many stops are scheduled at other dealers?

I was wondering when did you order? And when did production start. I'm waiting on mine and want to preserve the year end incentives which means it must be delivered by 2/28.

Great news, right after I posted this, I got the call fro my dealer. I ordered 11/29/11, picking it up Friday. Production started day after Christmas 12/26. The dealer told me the plant was closed during the holiday week, so I lost a week. All in all it took 6 1/2 weeks but felt like 52 weeks. I can't wait till Friiiiiday : )

no more than 3 mth,

from your ordering to get it in home, takes about 3 mth (fastest) in China, with 2 mth on the sea and 1 mth for the other...

so , to new england, i dont think will more than the time to far east...

Quick question...are the headlight rings still the yellowish halogens? Or did they get updated to why the X5 is coming with these days?
