Check with a junkyard? I would think you could pick one up pretty cheap...

its the painting cost thats the killer, it comes primed... but to get it painted, they have to mix up a batch of paint and prep the booth as if it were something larger

Ouch, right, missed that the pre-painted P/N is closer to $65.

$65 isn't bad. We had some members report prices between $100-$200.

Call these guys... they can probably wander out into the yard and find the one that you need... mailing costs should be minimal...

Spoken like a true New Jersey-ite...

J/K...

Interestingly, my car came out of PA with a second, already painted rear tow hook cover... I wonder if someone helped themselves to the front one at some point, and the previous owner pro-actively had a second rear one painted up with the new front one...

Here's a tip: buy the tow hook cover from a dealer that has a body shop attached to it (or at least affiliated with it). Ask them to hold the cover for you until they get a scheduled repair/repaint job with your paint code and ask if they'll paint it then. Gearing up to paint such a small piece is expensive, but if they're already in the process of painting someone else's bumper cover the same color, coating such a small piece in addition will take just a couple extra minutes. Most places will do it for free if you're willing to wait.

I ordered a rear tow hook cover through New Country BMW (Hartford, CT) and their parts counter guy was the one who suggested it to me since they have a body shop right nearby. In less than a week he called to say it was ready for pickup. Total cost was $20.

This is what I had them do for mine.

Lease turn-in ......... buy the cover, buy a can of touch-up paint and just make it look as good as you can. Turn the car in dusty.

The word "there" can appear as a pronoun, as in “over there".

"Their" is a possessive pronoun. In a phrase like “Susan and Bill's car,” it could be used to to make a new phrase: “their car.”

”They're” is a contraction of “they are.”
“They are” should always be able to replace “they're.”

Extra credit: It's "I'm looking for an M3" not "I'm looking for a M3".

Actually, being that it's a black car, and not some funky hard to duplicate color, you are probably on to something... a spray can of Dupli-color from your favorite auto parts place ought to do the trick...
