Mein Auto: BMW Z3 2.5 liter
Muffler / exhaust tip question

I am looking to replace my stock (non-polished) twin exhaust tip with a chrome/polished twin tip. It looks as though there are two separate tips out from the muffler, not one that splits into two.

Is it recommended to simply replace the two existing tips with polished tips, or it better to go with a new muffler that comes with polished tips attached? I have found that most twin exhaust tips for the Z3 are one pipe splitting into two. Does not seem like I can use this type with my factory muffler.

Thanks in advance.
