245/35/19x8 tires on my 525i?

've been wanting new tires/wheels and I've found a really good deal

245/35/19x8 wheels

However I only see these going on 3 series BMW's and sites like Discounttire say its not compatible however 235/35-19 is?

What's the problem here? Will I get issues putting these on? How come Discounttire says they're not compatible?

235 50 18 rubbed on the strut in my car. Put 235 45 18 and all is perfection.

I can't choose with this deal (Craigslist), I'm wondering if the tires I said 245/35/19 will rub or cause me any problems? I'm no car expert.

I drive a E60, 2004 525i as well...

Google tire size chart....something will pop up and show the actual circumference when you type in both tire sizes and you will know if its too tall compared to whats on your car now.

That tire size 245/35-19 is fine. The thing about some tire companies is they will not sell you the tires if the load index rating is less then what BMW recommends. What tires are they and also is it just tires or are they new wheels? If wheels what are the offsets.

"Zenetti Wheels with like new potenza tires"

He said they are "medium" offset.

He said they fit on his buddies 7-series just fine and his 1-series fine as well.

Yeah he's pulling your leg. 1 series wheel offsets are at a minimum in the high et30's to low et40's. Unless you have a xi, you will need serious spacers to make the wheels work. Not mention if the seller can't give you a straight answer pertaining offsets then I wouldn't take the chance of them not fitting. Just my .02 cents.
