Need help with 2012 X5 rebates & incentives
Hi all,
I've looked at the usual places: edmunds, various forums, BMW website, etc... and I cannot find definitive information about the various rebates and incentives for new 2011 or 2012 BMW X5 35i. I see there's a $1,000 manufacturers rebate according to edmunds. But what about the "mission to drive" or "nav credit" or anything else??? Can someone please help me and list out all the available discounts for the 2011-12 BMW X5 35i? Also, does anyone have the BMW official lease numbers for this car? ie: residual, money factor, etc... Thanks! |

Thanks for sharing that link, very helpful! Cant believe i didnt stumble across that before. One question I had... where did they get those numbers? Does BMW post these incentives and rebates somewhere at an official website or location? When I go in to the dealership, i want to be armed with this data but also back it up in case they question me or give me the classic "i dont know what you're talking about" attitude/look that dealerships love to do. So it would be nice to be able to reference an official source for the incentives and rebates.
Also, does anyone have the details for this month Dec? It's only the first of the month so we may have to wait a bit i'm guessing... thanks! |

Unless you absolutely need to take delivery locally, there are reputable CA's (client advisors) who are Bimmerfest sponsors and will give you the straight scoop with minimal BS. On the west coast, Jon Shafer and Greg Poland fit the bill; there is also Adrian Avila in Atlanta. I am sure there are others, too. Even if you can't swing Performace Center Delivery, "courtesy delivery" may be an option worth exploring.
There may also be great CA's in your local market. One way to find them is to contact the local chapter of BMW Car Club of America (BMW CCA). Hopefully you joined BMW CCA when you got your M3, so you qualify for the $1,000 rebate. BTW, keep in mind that the first week of the month is the worst time to negotiate price. Everyone's pencil gets sharper as month-end is approaching.

- You should, if you dont you are not the person I need to deal with...maybe your boss? - You should, and if you do, you are lying or being purposefully difficult- maybe I should deal with... - You should, maybe I will find a dealer who doesn't play games. etc, etc. There are things like trunk money, relative popularity of different models, what cars are selling for over invoice, which you will never find 'on an official BMW site'... KNOWING these, and being able to convince your adversary in the negotiation, are key. A
