its been along time since i posted in here . this spring i sold my 97 m3 that i had for 5 yrs and really enjoyed . reason i sold it i bought a 94 alpina b3 3.0 and just recently i bought a 1996 b8 4.0 alpina . i imported my b8 and my b3 from japan and i my b8 will be here nov 24th . lousy thing i wont be able to drive it until next spring . here are a few pics of my old M3 and my 2 alpina's . c&c welcome

here is a pic of a tire but if u look at the muffler it will give u an idea of how clean the car is

thanks guys . ill admit we are really fortunate to be able to import cars 15 yrs or older . when i bought my first alpina i thought i would be happy with an automatic but noooooooo . the b8 with a v8 and 6 speed it will be alot more fun .

Funny, Alpina usually targets a more luxurious feel than stock BMW, but lately they're making more sporty editions that happen to be more luxurious, too! The new B7 is more competitive than the 760Li in power and luxury.

A 3 series sedan with a V8 and manual transmission sounds pretty darn sporty, too.

alpina is like a wolf in sheeps clothing lol . their big thing is lots of torque , even my b3 is 250 hp with 240 tq . the b8 is over 300 hp with just over 300 tq and most of that tq is available at 1000 rpm . mine is a 4.0 so its not as powerful as the euro 4.6 litre but im sure it will still pull very strong . from what i read the euro b8 beats up on the euro m3 .

you are right about the b7 , wow what a beast over 500 hp and 0 to 60 in 4.5 sec . right now on the site i bought my alpina's from there is a highway monster for sale , a 1996 b12 alpina with only 66.000 km on it . over 380 hp and 400 tq .

and a 96 z3 with only 4000 km on . some really clean cars in japan .
