Question Head Gasket Replacement Help and Info Please

So i bought a 95 M3 with a small coolant leak and was hoping it was just a heater hose but a pressure test confirmed a HG leak at the back of the head.
I plan on doing it myself and I have done a lot of research but still have a few questions.
Here is what i already plan on buying:
Top end Gasket set. Is this a good one, can i use those valve seals?
vanos kit
Thermostat and housing
APR head Studs
Timing tools http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-Camshaft...item3cbfa1e3d3
My questions:
Should I do the head studs? i read somewhere that they have to be re-tightened after the first heat cycle?
What type of machining on the head do you suggest for resurfacing and valves?
any other tips, tricks or information is greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your time and info.

I would have a machine shop check the head. If is it flat, no machining is required, but some recommend a VERY light cut make sure.

I would definitely have a valve job done while you have it apart. Cheap insurance.
