Hit A Curb Xtreme Brake Dust

Hello everyone,
Hope you all are having a great holliday season. A few days ago my better half hit a curb in mybabystoy. The back wheel is bent and there is thick brake dust all over it. I know that I have to replace the wheel but my question is, is there something else that might be damaged because of the brake dust? Thanks in advance for your help.

Dragging brakes are likely caused by a bent caliper carrier. If the hit was hard enough to bend the carrier you probably have a lot more damage.... things like bearings, the hub, wishbones etc.... You will have to get it checked out.

I'm not near the expert that Yorgi is, but I would definately agree. If you're getting heavy brake dust, something else is most likely bent/damaged. Good luck.
